History

　　Liaoning Hongjing Group is a joint venture founded with Taiwan businessmen in 1998 with a registered capital of 62 million yuan. The company takes waste catalysts discharged from oil refining enterprises in the Middle East as raw materials and adopts hydrometallurgical process developed independently by our company. The capacity of treating waste catalysts is 25,000 tons/year. It produces national standard vanadium pentoxide 3000 tons/year, iron vanadium 1000 tons/year, high purity molybdenum oxide 1000 tons/year, iron molybdenum 1500 tons/year and nickel concentrate. Powder 15,000 tons/year, ammonia 3,500 tons/year, and sodium bicarbonate 16,200 tons/year. All environmental indicators are up to the standard, and production waste residue and wastewater are discharged zero. More than half of the products are exported to many countries and regions, such as the United States, Europe and Asia, and have friendly and close cooperation with many large domestic iron and steel enterprises. Liaoning Hongjing Group has become the third largest producer of vanadium additives in China after Panzhihua Iron and Steel Company and Chengde Iron and Steel Company.

　　Since March 2006, the Group has cooperated with the Process Engineering Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to develop the full-component recycling of industrial waste residues containing vanadium, molybdenum and chromium. At present, the recycling of industrial waste residue containing vanadium, molybdenum and nickel has been successfully completed. The total recovery rates of vanadium and molybdenum are 85% and 92% respectively. The wastewater is discharged up to the standard. The waste residue and wastewater are discharged zero. The combined technology has reached the advanced level in the world. The full-component recycling of industrial waste residue containing vanadium, chromium, phosphorus and iron has also been completed, and has been listed in the national "863" plan. The project code is 2006AA06Z369. It is the first time that the industrialization of separation of vanadium and chromium has been realized in the world. On May 23, 2007, it applied for a national invention patent, patent application No. 200710011393.6.
